Paraffin Wax This is the most common candle wax on the market. It is petroleum based. It is inexpensive. And it is in the majority of candles you find at big box stores. On its own, it can produce more soot than other waxes. But here is the thing. Paraffin is not automatically the villain it gets made out to be online. The quality of the paraffin, how it is blended, and how the candle is made all matter.

Soy Wax Made from soybeans. Natural and renewable. Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than straight paraffin. It also has a softer scent throw on its own which is why most serious candle makers blend it with other waxes for better performance.

Coconut Wax Made from cold pressed coconut oil. One of the cleanest burning waxes available. Holds fragrance beautifully and gives candles a smooth creamy finish. It is also the most premium option which is why it costs more.

Coconut Apricot Wax A luxury blend of coconut and apricot waxes. Incredibly smooth. Excellent scent throw. Beautiful glass adhesion. This one is reserved for select candle collections here at Kandie's Scents.

For select seasonal collections, we use coconut apricot wax for an even more luxurious burn experience.
